- My First car : 1994 4-door Honda Civic LX. It swallowed a valve, power steering went out, and it was burning oil….but it kept running until the day I sold it.
- Now I drive : 2007 Volvo 2.5T. It’s horrible on gas, but it’ll run forever.
- How I got interested in Auto Repair: My dad got me a 1979 Porsche 928 as a “dad-son” project. That year in high school, I went to Vo-Tech and found out I was “naturally gifted.” It still doesn't run yet...restoring a Porsche is expensive! I’ve already had to fabricate some of my own parts.
- Specialization: Knowledge with Volvos. They were sort of my schtick through 4 years of college, especially the Volvo S60’s.
- Years in Auto Repair: About 12 years (Technician 2 years, School 7 years, Army Mechanic 6 years, Service Advisor 3 years)
- Favorite Snack: Atkins peanut butter bars
- Favorite Vacation: Honeymoon in Germany. I was really proud that I was able to use my highschool German to get into a movie without anyone knowing we were tourists!

- #FUNFACTS: I’m an amatuer construction contractor on the side (my own projects). I was an avid video game player (In 2009, I was really good at Call of Duty 3). I was on the pit crew for my buddy’s midget race team.

- 3 Things on my Bucket List: Go back to Germany when I speak more fluently. Get the Porsche running. Take a cross-country train ride to Alaska.

- How I got interested in Auto Repair: By chance. None of my family was into cars, but I had friends who were.

- Now I drive: 2002 GMC Sierra Truck with NO CAR PAYMENT!
- How I got into Auto Repair: I came out of the womb with a wrench in my hand. Grew up with an uncle who was a drag racer and took me to Maple Grove a lot. I officially started my first auto repair job on the books when I was 15.
- My Specialty: Lots of things... but I like internal engine repair.
- Favorite Treat: Charleston Chews, Red Robin, Chic-Fil-a
- Fave Vacation: Honeymooned in Jamaica. Never been out of the US besides that. Come to think of it I've only been to one other state outside of Pennsylvania!
- Bucket List: Finish rebuilding my dream car - my 1967 Chevrolet Nova. Travel to Montana or Wyoming; I've seen the pictures. I want to go.
- #FUNFACTS: My first hair cut was a mullet (yes, there is photographic evidence). I like classic cars and collect Chevy Nova's (1969 + 1967).

- How I got interested in Auto Repair: At birth? My granddad has a VW specialty shop. I got my first job there in 2012.
- Years in Automotive: Officially? 8 years
- Favorite Snack or Treat: Dunkin' Donuts iced coffee, Ice cream, DQ Ice cream cake
- Favorite Vacation: Seeing any kind of new places
- Going out to eat, I'm going to: Applebee's for half-off apps & $1 drinks. It's a good night for like $10!!
- In My Community: I used to race mountain bikes & played hockey.
- #FUNFACTS: Since age 14, I've owned 89 cars (and counting). I rode BMX most of my life and was even featured on Fuel TV. Penske Race team offered me a job out of high school, but I turned it down; I didn't want to leave my friends and family behind.
- Bucket List: Tour Europe. Own rental houses. Get one of the Top 3 times for Cannon Ball Run.

- My First Car: 1969 Yellow Datsun Roadster that I got when I was 8 years old! My grandad got a blue one at the same time. After my granddad sold his, I tracked it down and bought it back. I still have both of them in storage. One is waiting for brakes because they dried out and the other needs a timing belt.
- Now I drive: 2003 Honda Element, 215k miles (most of our vehicles have more than 200k miles). I love the color...Orange
- How I got interested in Auto Repair: My dad had a shop in Fleetwood. I started helping out at age 7.
- Specialization: Ford Master Tech, but I can work on just about anything with enough information.
- Years in Auto Repair: 30+ years
- Favorite Treat: My dad’s Cherry Cheese Pie or grandma’s Hickory Nut Cake
- Favorite Vacation: Maine, Niagara, Henry Ford Museum in Michigan. We used to go with my parents to Watkins Glen, driving our Datsun roadsters and meeting up with people from across the country… the challenge of making a 4+ hour trip with 50 year old cars!
- Going out to eat, I’m going to: Ozgood’s in Kutztown (American Fare)
- My Community: Helping at Church with organizing suppers, Volunteering with Topton Fire Company helping with breakfasts
- #FUNFACTS: As my Eagle Scout project, I built a 12’H x 8’W brick charcoal BBQ fireplace over the course of 2 years. Mike Rowe (Dirty Jobs) is one of my all-time favorite people; I’d love to do commentary like him and ad lib jokes. When I retire, I want to be a mine tour guide at the Ashland Pioneer Tunnel Coal Mine.

- 3 things on my Bucket List: Hawaii, Family trip with both of the Roadsters (may have to wait for my preschool son to grow up and learn how to drive stick shift), Own a Split Window VW bus.

- Now I drive: 2005 Acura RSX + my modified 2000 Honda Civic. I like the Acura because it’s reliable + no payment. The Civic is just FUN… I take it out about twice a year (and once is just for PA State Inspection!)
- Specialization: The Japanese makes, interior vehicle repairs that require attention to detail
- Favorite Treat: Not crazy for sweets. I’d go for Chic-Fil-A or Five Guys.
- Favorite Vacation: beach, camping, something relaxing
- #FUNFACTS: I love my lawn. There’s a noticeable green line between my neighbor’s grass and mine. We have 7 cats. I think we’re now officially a cat family.

- My Community: I’m on the board for Blazer Youth Sports, a local baseball organization in Birdsboro
- #FUNFACTS: I still play baseball. I’m ambidextrous; I’m left-handed but I do most sports with my right. I have 2 dogs, 2 cats, 1 fish + 1 hermit crab (that’s still alive…)

- Bucket List: Ride my Harley across Florida to see the sunrise over the Atlantic and the sunset over the Gulf of Mexico
- #FUNFACTS: Plays acoustic & electric guitar. Played bass violin in the high school orchestra. A few years ago, I bought a Dodge Durango that belonged to this guy; I didn't know it, but it turned out I was also in the process of buying his house at the same time! (The neighbors were really confused to see his car still parked at the same house...)

- First Car: 1966 Mustang. Basically, I destroyed it. I was a 17 year old and met a lot of guard rails.
- Now I drive: 2019 Toyota Tacoma. The payments suck, but I like the size.
- How I got interested in Auto Repair: My brother was a mechanic and worked at a towing outfit out of school. My dad, brother & I bought a gas station here in Reading. In 1974, I started at AAMCO as a transmission builder, making $2.93 per hour. When I left in 1981, I was their head transmission builder. I’ve been in the business ever since. I’ve tried other ventures (Imported shoes made my uncle a multi-millionaire with 110-ft sailing yacht), but I keep coming back to this. I’m good at it, and I like the chance to figure things out.
- Specialization: Transmissions, especially Diagnostics
- Years in Mechanical Automotive: Since 1972 or so. You can do the math.
- Favorite Snack or Treat: Chips – sour cream & onion, salt & vinegar. Of course, Chocolate Ice Cream Cake is good, too.
- Favorite Vacation: Beach resort
- Going out to eat, I’m going to: Little country places with great food. Have you ever tried the Dryville Hotel?
- In My Community: I’m a Freemason and we do charity work. I also work part-time for Kerper’s Gun & Archery store.
- #FUNFACTS: I’m a private pilot. I’m a hunter (not as much as I used to). I’m a Rescue & Advanced Open Water SCUBA diver.
- Bucket List: Moose Hunt. Travel to Europe. I’ve never been to any of the National Parks.

- How I got into Auto Repair: I came from Cuba in 1995. I started working part-time for Gabe at Lee Myles in Reading in 1998, doing floors and trash. Then I started cleaning transmissions, and in 2-3 years, I got to start pulling out transmissions myself.
- My Specialty: Transmissions & Drivetrain. Super-fast, super-good removal & installation.
- Favorite Treat: Puerco (Roasted Pork)
- Fave Vacation: Cuba, Dominican Republic
- Bucket List: A cruise or a vacation to another country... maybe Europe? Who knows?

- Now I drive: 2003 Volkswagen Jetta I bought from one of the mechanics here at Lee Myles Reading. I love that it’s a standard not automatic
- How I got interested in Auto Repair: I started learning because I had nobody to help when I got a car.

- Favorite Snack: Ice cream... but I’m lactose intolerant so - banana bread with nuts.

- How I got into Auto Repair: LOL, I'll tell you something about me: My dad was a Diesel mechanic. And my first husband was a car mechanic who taught me words like "driveshaft," "bell housing," "rocker arms," and "pistons!" I know just enough about cars to be dangerous!
- My Specialty: Bookkeeping, Admin, Making new friends
- Favorite Treat: Chocolate Ice Cream

- In My Community: I like to volunteer with my daughter's Girl Scout troop when they serve hot drinks and soup, either at Hope Rescue Mission or on the street corners in Reading. My favorite thing is when they ask "how much" and I get to tell them "nothing!"

- Now I drive: 2009 Infiniti G37x - I love that powerful little car. It's a car you can wear. (True story: I used to drive a 2007 Infiniti G35x with 230,000+ miles. One morning Darren totaled it. Later that afternoon, a customer came in to Lee Myles asking if anyone would like to buy her 2009 Infiniti - It was identical to mine but 2 years newer with a bigger engine and less than half the miles! Whaaat?)
- How I got into Auto Repair: Ask my husband, lol. Chasing a dream.
- My Specialty: Bringing us back to the Vision. Making sense of the data. I love me some spreadsheets.
