  • First Car: 1987 GMC Sierra Classic 1500. I bought it with my own money when I was 13 and fixed it up so I could drive it when I got my license.
  • Now I drive: 2013 Volkswagen TDi, the first car I ever had with a car payment… but wow, the gas mileage!
  • How I got into Auto Repair: It all started watching Chip Foose auto restoration shows on TV. I knew I wanted a trade and believed I’d have something to offer in auto repair
  • My Specialty: BMWs +other European vehicles
  • Favorite Treat: Deer Jerky! Yes, even over donuts (but there seem to be a lot more donuts around this place…)
  • Fave Vacation: Just came back from our Dream Vacay to Alaska. When can we go back??
  • In My Community: Helping my church is big to me.

  • Fave Vacation: Sturgis, SD, home of Mount Rushmore and the biggest bike rally in the world

  • Now I drive: 2002 GMC Sierra Truck with NO CAR PAYMENT!
  • How I got into Auto Repair: I came out of the womb with a wrench in my hand. Grew up with an uncle who was a drag racer and took me to Maple Grove a lot. I officially started my first auto repair job on the books when I was 15.
  • My Specialty: Lots of things… but I like internal engine repair.
  • Favorite Treat: Charleston Chews, Red Robin, Chic-Fil-a
  • Fave Vacation: Honeymooned in Jamaica. Never been out of the US besides that. Come to think of it I’ve only been to one other state outside of Pennsylvania!
  • Bucket List: Finish rebuilding my dream car – my 1967 Chevrolet Nova. Travel to Montana or Wyoming; I’ve seen the pictures. I want to go.
  • #FUNFACTS: My first hair cut was a mullet (yes, there is photographic evidence). I like classic cars and collect Chevy Nova’s (1969 + 1967).

  • Now I drive: 2005 Acura RSX + my modified 2000 Honda Civic. I like the Acura because it’s reliable + no payment. The Civic is just FUN… I take it out about twice a year (and once is just for PA State Inspection!)
  • My Specialty: the Japanese makes, interior vehicle repairs that require attention to detail
  • Favorite Treat: Not crazy for sweets… I’d go for Chic-Fil-a or Five Guys
  • Fave Vacation: beach, camping, something relaxing
  • Bucket List: Marry my Girl. Design my dream house. Trip to Italy.
  • #FUNFACTS: We have, ahem, 7 cats. I think we’re now officially a cat family. Also, I LOVE my friggin’ lawn! Seriously, there’s this noticeable green line between my neighbor’s grass and mine.

  • Now I drive: 2014 Toyota Camry. I love everything – gas mileage, low maintenance… I love a Toyota!
  • How I got into Auto Repair: I came from Cuba in 1995. I started working part-time for Gabe at Lee Myles in Reading in 1998, doing floors and trash. Then I started cleaning transmissions, and in 2-3 years, I got to start pulling out transmissions myself.
  • My Specialty: Transmissions & Drivetrain. Super-fast, super-good removal & installation.
  • Favorite Treat: Puerco (Roasted Pork)
  • Fave Vacation: Cuba, Dominican Republic
  • Bucket List: A cruise or a vacation to another country… maybe Europe? Who knows?

  • Now I drive: Toyota Tacoma because it’s reliable and gets good gas mileage
  • How I got into Auto Repair: I hung around my hot-rod-building uncle when I was 12 or 13
  • My Specialty: Transmission Rebuilding
  • Favorite Treat: Peach cobbler with vanilla bean ice cream
  • Fave Vacation: We went to the Outer Banks, rented a boat and took the kids on waverunners
  • Bucket List: Ride my Harley across Florida to see the sunrise over the Atlantic and the sunset over the Gulf of Mexico
  • #FUNFACTS: Plays acoustic & electric guitar. Played bass violin in the high school orchestra. A few years ago, I bought a Dodge Durango that belonged to this guy; I didn’t know it, but it turned out I was also in the process of buying his house at the same time! (The neighbors were really confused to see his car still parked at the same house…)

  • Now I drive: a bunch of cars… 1997 Dodge (cheap to fix), 2002 Buick Lesabre (cheap to fix), 2009 Toyota Sienna (hate that car, lol)
  • How I got into Auto Repair: I was tricked. This guy (Darren) asked me, “do you want to clean some cars…?” and it went from there. I went to school to be a carpenter!
  • My Specialty: General Service repairs, Fixing whatever’s broken (aka “Miscellaneous Helping”), Bear Hugs
  • Favorite Treat: Cheese
  • Fave Vacation: Staycation – I’ve got Stuff to do!
  • In My Community: Lots to do between Collegeville & Berks County. I manage a sort of Food Pantry that helps a lot of families.
  • Bucket List: Get more buckets. Seriously, I’ve done all the usual stuff (cliff diving, backpacking across mountain ranges, jumping out of an airplane, getting a headlock on a 2,000-pound bull). What’s left? I guess Australia. And living long enough to see my kids graduate.

  • Now I drive: 2009 Chevrolet Impala. It’s big, so I feel safer. And my dad gave it to me, so it’s sentimental.
  • How I got into Auto Repair: LOL, I’ll tell you something about me: My dad was a Diesel mechanic. And my first husband was a car mechanic who taught me words like “driveshaft,” “bell housing,” “rocker arms,” and “pistons!” I know just enough about cars to be dangerous!
  • My Specialty: Bookkeeping, Admin, Making new friends
  • Favorite Treat: Chocolate Ice Cream
  • Fave Vacation: Caribbean
  • In My Community: I like to volunteer with my daughter’s Girl Scout troop when they serve hot drinks and soup, either at Hope Rescue Mission or on the street corners in Reading. My favorite thing is when they ask “how much” and I get to tell them “nothing!”
  • Bucket List: Hot air balloon ride, Cuba, Bora-Bora to stay in an over-the-water bungalow and go snorkeling

  • #FUNFACTS:  I’m a bit of a Grillmaster – a different grill for every occasion. Maybe because I spent 10 years as a steak cook and manager in a restaurant. Also, I have a Soil Science degree from Penn State University.

  • Now I drive: 2009 Infiniti G37x – I love that powerful little car. It’s a car you can wear. (True story: I used to drive a 2007 Infiniti G35x with 230,000+ miles. One morning Darren totaled it. Later that afternoon, a customer came in to Lee Myles asking if anyone would like to buy her 2009 Infiniti – It was identical to mine but 2 years newer with a bigger engine and less than half the miles! Whaaat?)
  • How I got into Auto Repair: Ask my husband, lol. Chasing a dream.
  • My Specialty: Bringing us back to the Vision. Making sense of the data. I love me some spreadsheets.
  • Favorite Treat: Ripe strawberries, Milky Way, The entire menu at Judy’s on Cherry
  • Fave Vacation: Cruising the Chesapeake Bay and eating blue crab
  • In My Community: Leader with Bible Study Fellowship International, Small group leader at church, Does Facebook count as community involvement? lol
